Availability, implementation and perceived effectiveness of clinical practice guidelines in district hospitals in the Eastern Cape

This record contains the de-identified underlying data for the study "Availability, implementation and perceived effectiveness of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) in district hospitals of the Eastern Cape, South Africa." The study was conducted as an MPH mini-dissertation at Walter Sisulu University and examined the availability of CPGs, the extent of their implementation, and their perceived effectiveness among healthcare professionals in selected Eastern Cape district hospitals. Files included: (1) de-identified dataset in .xlsx/.csv format;(2 ) blank data collection instrument. All personal identifiers have been removed. Ethical approval was granted by the Walter Sisulu University Human Research Ethics Committee [WSU HREC 038/2026], and permission was obtained from the Eastern Cape Department of Health.
