Comparison of the gene expression profiles of human and cynomolgus monkey PBMCs in response to PHA and LPS The peripheral blood monuclear cells (PBMCs) (1×10^6 cells/ml) obtained from the cynomolgus monkeys or the human donors were treated with PHA (2 μg.ml-1 or 10 μg.ml-1) or LPS (2 μg.ml-1 or 10 μg.ml-1) and incubated at 37 °C for 3 days.
