Government Policy, Higher Education, and Green Entrepreneurial Intention: The Mediating Role of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy in Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa

This dataset contains anonymized, replication-ready survey responses (N = 1,046) used in the study of government policy, higher education mechanisms, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and green entrepreneurial intention across Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa. The dataset includes demographic variables (country, gender, age group, university type, and mode of study) and 26 Likert-scale items across four constructs: Government Policy Support (6 items) Higher Education Exposure (7 items) Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (8 items) Green Entrepreneurial Intention (5 items) A codebook is provided to describe all variables and items in detail. The dataset is anonymized to protect respondent confidentiality and formatted for replication purposes. It is intended to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and future research on green entrepreneurship and ecosystem development in Africa.
