This file contains the Ocean Circulation Inverse Model (OCIM 1.1), converted from MATLAB's MAT format to Julia's JLD2 format.<br>The code used to create the JLD2 file uploaded here is located in the GitHub code repository of the same name as this data repository (https://github.com/briochemc/AIBECS_circulations).<br>It uses the DataDeps.jl package to download and locally store the original MATLAB OCIM files, the MAT.jl package to load the MAT file in Julia, and the JLD2 package to save the file locally as a JLD2 file. The JLD2 files were then uploaded on FigShare manually.<br>Note that OCIM 1.1 was not created by me (BP) — I only downloaded and converted the MAT file into a JLD2 file.<br>Please see DeVries (2014) Table 1 for details and reference this paper as well as DeVries and Primeau (2011) when using the OCIM 1.1. <br><br>I believe that the grant information for the creation of OCIM can be found in those references.<br>The license I attached is the MIT but I actually do not know if this is the correct one I should attach here as I was not involved in the original MATLAB files of the OCIM 1.1.<br>In the future, this repository will likely disappear and AIBECS will directly download the MAT files from a data repository owned by Tim DeVries and convert them on the fly.<br>
