Z-Score Standardized Input and Regression Results for Microplastic Fate Modeling in UTOPIA

This dataset contains standardised input parameters and RMSE values used for multiple linear regression analysis in a study evaluating the UTOPIA model's ability to simulate observed microplastic size distributions. The dataset includes 392 subset entries, each representing a unique combination of observed dataset, target compartment, receiving compartment, and plastic density. All input parameters—fragmentation style (FI), fragmentation timescale, and discorporation half-life were standardised using Z-scores to facilitate comparison of their relative influence on RMSE. The results were used to identify which parameters most significantly affected model performance and to assess compartment-specific patterns.
