The dataset is sourced from the 2018 Dynamic Monitoring Survey Data of Floating Population conducted by the National Health and Family Planning Commission. It was subsequently processed using STATA statistical software to generate Excel attribute data tables. The dataset reflects the mobility characteristics of China's floating population stratified by urban agglomerations in 2018, including population counts and row-wise percentage distributions of indicators such as current mobility scope, current mobility duration, current mobility motivation, time of first departure from one's registered permanent residence, and other related metrics across various classification intervals.
