资源简介:

Dry reforming of methane (DRM) involves the chemical conversion of methane and carbon dioxide into syngas, which is essential for synthesising valuable chemicals. Traditional DRM encounters economic challenges, leading to an exploration of electrification employing renewable energy and magnetic induction heating. This thesis focuses on catalyst-coated monolith structures, specifically highlighting the performance of the Gyroid Without Wall (GWW) structure. Gyroid structures exhibit superior performance compared to Octet and Voronoi structures. Catalyst-coated Gyroid monoliths, particularly Ni/MgO-MCM-41, demonstrate outstanding performance, illustrating the significance of catalyst design for effective DRM through induction heating. The study estimates the kinetic parameters, which are suitable for the scale-up of structured reactors on Ni/MgO-MCM-41 sandwiched catalyst.
