Sul fondamento filosofico del counsaling

The paper presents some reflections on the philosophical foundations of counseling. The fundamental thesis is that counseling, when fully accomplished, finds its reasons and its tools in philosophy. The argument grounds on two assumptions: on the one hand, that the history of thought is marked by a process of de- anthropocentrization that led to the identification in rationality, or rather in the possibility of rationality, the principal element of the human being; on the other hand, that the history of philosophy is driven by the continuous redefinition of its object of analysis, and that this process led to the development, thanks to the linguistic turn, of critical reasoning as the philosophical tool par excellence.
