## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. This dataset was derived from multiple datasets. You can find a link to the parent datasets in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.\n\n\n\nThis dataset contains a list (spreadsheet) and geodatabase of coal mines and deposits for the HUN subregion. List current as a February 2015\n\n\n\nCoal mine list compiled from two sources - Register of Australian Mining 2013-2014 (RAM) and the OZMIN data for the HUN subregion area. Mines and deposits are listed in spreadsheet with geolocational data. Dataset includes point shapefiles in a geodatabase generated from the spreadsheet for report map display.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nCoal mine list compiled from two sources - Register of Australian Mining 2014-2015 (RAM) and the OZMIN data that GA has provided. Duplication from the two sources has been removed and RAM used in preference to OZMIN as it is more up to date and provides more detail on operating mines. The spreadsheet shows the data source.
