Multi-omics analysis of the mechanism of alfalfa and wheat-induced rumen flatulence in Xizang sheep

Rumen flatulence is a rumen disease caused by dietary factors in ruminants. Changes in food and diet shape the diversity of the gastrointestinal microbiota in ruminants. This study used alfalfa (HRF) and wheat grass (MRF) to induce a rumen flatulence model in Xizang sheep to understand the diversity of rumen microbiota in Xizang sheep in healthy and pathological states, as well as interactions with the host, and to explore the molecular mechanisms of rumen flatulence.
