Dataset for "Hailstorm Responses to Climate Change across Diverse Synoptic Environments in South Korea: A Pseudo-Global Warming Study" This dataset supports the paper "Hailstorm Responses to Climate Change across Diverse Synoptic Environments in South Korea: A Pseudo-Global Warming Study". The data were produced using WRF simulations of twelve hailstorm cases in South Korea, each performed under the current climate (CTRL) and a pseudo-global warming condition (PGW) with an end-of-century climate change signal under the SSP5-8.5 scenario. All data are provided in a single NetCDF file (hailstorm_pgw_dataset.nc). Most variables share the two basic dimensions, case (12 hailstorm cases, LT1-LT3, CC1-CC3, and UP1-UP6) and experiment (CTRL and PGW), with additional dimensions used where needed (e.g., height for vertical profiles and diameter_bin for hail size distributions). The file contains case-level statistics of hailstorm environments, hail and precipitation characteristics, convective updrafts and clouds, and storm tracking, along with hail diameter distributions and selected vertical profiles.
