The three sub blocks to be relinquished were originally to come from EPC719 which has a partial relinquishment requirement this year.
But as all the Fitzroy Exploration Permits for Coal EPCs are combined into one project EPC675, EPC667, EPC719, EPC722, EPC858, EPC951, EPC952, EPC1036, EPC1052, and EPC1146 (the Pioneer Project), it was decided to take the three sub-blocks from less prospective ground on EPC952.
No exploration was undertaken on the relinquished areas.
