资源简介:
This trancriptome analysis reveals the first detailed analysis on how the remnant lens epithelial cells (LECs) greatly reprogram their transcriptome towards inflammation/fibrosis by 24 hours post cataract surgery (PCS). Living mice were subjected to lens fiber cell removal leaving behind the lens epithelium and capsule to model human cataract surgery. llumina HiSeq 2000 (Illumina) transcriptome profiling was performed in biological triplicate on remnant LECs isolated either immediately after surgery or 24 hours later in order to ascertain the response of lens epithelial cells to cataract suregery with the goal of understanding the molecular basis of posterior capsular opacification.
