Perception regarding the risk posed by low radiation doses in Japan 2023

In a survey conducted in January 2023 in Japan regarding how people perceive the risk of radiation doses so low that no health effects can be confirmed, the majority of the respondents stated that if it is within the standard value and not more likely to cause cancer than other carcinogenic factors, they were not concerned. Around 28 percent stated that they cannot consider the risk due to a lack of sufficient information.
