Five ageing datasets for NMC lithium-ion pouch cells
收藏资源简介:
General information This record comprises five datasets obtained from ageing tests on LG Chem E71A lithium-ion pouch cells with NMC chemistry. The cells were clamped between aluminium plates to ensure a uniform pressure of 100 kPa. Thermistor elements were attached to the cell surface using thermally conductive paste to ensure accurate temperature measurements. The tests were carried out using an Arbin battery cycler (16 channels, 500 W, 5 V, 100 A). The cells were tested under constant-current/constant-voltage (CC/CV) cycling conditions. During both charge and discharge, the constant-current phase was applied at the same C-rate of 0.5C, 1C, or 1.44C, based on a nominal cell capacity of 69.5 Ah. In addition, during discharge, a 100 A current pulse was applied at 30% state of charge (SoC) to evaluate internal resistance. A zero-current stage was included at the end of each cycle to avoid heat accumulation. Every 50 cycles, three CC/CV capacity-check cycles were performed at C/3 without the discharge current pulse. Cycling was terminated when excessive cell swelling was observed. Preprocessing The raw data were preprocessed prior to publication. The preprocessing workflow included: merging file segments belonging to the same dataset deriving elapsed time from the Date_Time field assigning cycle numbers removing unnecessary fields reordering fields renaming fields Additional information Reference Final number of cycles Capacity before cycling, Ah Final SoH C-rate Estimated ageing rate, % per 100 cycles rc01_reduced 1091 70.82 0.869 C/2 1.01 rc02_reduced 1088 71.17 0.886 C/2 0.86 rc04_reduced 399 71.39 0.455 1C 12.8 rc05_reduced 1539 69.91 0.874 1.44C 0.43 rc06_reduced 319 71.30 0.553 1C 13.5
