Pre-Post Survey Data on the Effectiveness of Microlearning on Sustainable Digitalization

In this dataset, we survey data obtained in study on the effectiveness of microlearning to enhance competencies related to climate change. The study was conducted as an online field experiment with 140 participants who engaged in a microlearning activity on the sustainable use of smartphones between April 8, 2024, and May 31, 2024. Data was collected based on online surveys administered to participants before and after the microlearning intervention. The dataset includes information on: Socio-demographic characteristics of participants (age, gender, employment status) Results from knowledge quizzes on sustainable smartphone use Assessments of sustainability action competencies (knowledge of action possibilities, confidence in one's influence, willingness to act) Data on learner satisfaction with the microlearning activity The codebook as well as the description of scales and measurement provides detailed descriptions of all variables included in the dataset. Furthermore, to illustrate the microlearning activity, we have added an animated GIF.
