Council Districts (Implemented on May 6, 2023)

Read about here: Dallas Redistricting Commission As required by the Dallas City Charter, the City Council appoints a 15-member Redistricting Commission to develop the districting plan in compliance with local, state and federal law. The new districting plan will be implemented on May 6, 2023. Any data created using the 2023 council districts should include prominent notation in metadata and any related documentation that these council district will not be implemented before May 6th, 2023. It is recommended that any application using the 2023 council districts feature a splash screen explaining that these council districts do not take effect until May 6, 2023.
