Fraser Coast Urban Wildlife Corridor Restoration Project - Pioneer Country Park

This project will increase the area of remnant and regrowth native vegetation and enhance fauna habitat and safe movement by revegetating and/or regenerating selected open space areas within Pioneer Country Park and the corridor connecting it with Police Paddock Conservation Park, Maryborough. Connecting and enhancing habitat will contribute towards conservation of the local koala population and of other local flora and fauna species. This project will engage the wider community as well as a team of young participants. Participants will develop skills in Conservation & Land Management and gain broader work skills which they will be able to apply in their future careers.
