资源简介:
Amniotic fluid constitutes an extremely complex and dynamic ecological environment. It is primarily composed of dialysate derived from maternal blood that enters the amniotic cavity via the placenta, and it undergoes changes as pregnancy progresses. Notably, it may harbor a variety of different virus types. In this study, we employed viral metagenomic tools to investigate the sequencing data of amniotic fluid samples obtained from both healthy pregnant women and those with medical conditions. When utilizing viral metagenomics for the mining, analysis, and visualization of these virome data, we successfully identified viral genomic data. This finding provides a basis for gaining in-depth insights into the potential role of these viruses in host transmission and the significance of their association with the health status of pregnant women. The purpose of this study is to leverage metagenomics for big data analysis, thereby helping us achieve a deeper understanding of the underlying biological relationships, further enrich the available information regarding genetic and evolutionary characteristics, and emphasize the importance of conducting further research on the interactions between viruses and hosts.
