Streptococcus agalactiae S73 complete genome was obtained from brain and kidney of tilapia in an outbreak occurred in northeastern Brazil. The S73 strain is the first report of Streptococcus agalactiae serotype III in Brazilian tilapia farms. Also, this isolated was classified with bacteriology assays as a multidrug resistant bacteria.
