Austria: import value of cars 2010-2023

In 2023, Austria imported cars, including vehicle chassis and car bodies, worth 9.4 billion euros. In 2019, car imports had stood at 8.1 billion euros but dropped by close to a quarter at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. Imports began to recover in 2021 and exceeded pre-pandemic levels in 2023.
