Evaluation of two phytase doses (1000 and 2000 FTU/kg) from three commercial phytase enzymes in terms of broiler performance, tibia ash, feed cost and production costs/kg broiler

The research aimed at evaluating how different commercially available phytase enzymes affected broiler performance and bone quality parameters. Different phytases have different degrees of efficacy, which in turn leads to differences in diet formulations for broilers in terms of nutrient levels and ultimately feed cost. The research distinguished between the effects on broiler performance as well as the cost of producing that level of performance. This aids in informing poultry producers on which phytase is best suited for the particular circumstances of production, which includes factors such as feed cost and raw material availability.
