X-MethaneWet is a cross-scale benchmark dataset for global wetland methane emissions. It combines physically simulated data generated by the TEM-MDM model and real-world observational data collected from FLUXNET-CH4. This dataset provides methane flux simulation data for 62,470 global locations, with daily records spanning from 1979 to 2018. It also includes real observational data from 30 wetlands worldwide. This comprehensive dataset serves as a foundation for evaluating and improving global wetland methane emission models, and facilitates scientific discoveries and the development of more accurate climate models.
