This series contains records of the Administrator State Electricity Commision Victoria (SECV), Gas & Fuel and Ports, including State Electricity Commission Board Papers, copies of a Joint Venture (with Telecom Australia), documentation relating to legislation, including the Gas Industry (Amendment) Bill 1997 and discoverable documents in the Longford Gas Plant explosion litigation case. The series also contains documentation relating to corporatisation of the generator and distributor companies, SECV Shell budgets, and the disposal of land and property, including the Yallourn Power Station Switchyard. Records in this series contain references to the Yallourn Clearance Project, Gas and Fuel contaminated sites, the Ports Fund, SECV Operations and Liabilities, a Co-operative Research Venture with Monash University, SECV Assets sales and PowerNet / GPU PowerNet Pty Ltd.
