资源简介:

As a point of curiosity, among the 5 Mungbam speech varieties, Missong is the only one with a bà-prefix for class 2 nouns. Missong Mungbam (ISO 639-3: mij, abar1238) language is a Yemne-Kimbi (Good et al 2011) speech variety spoken in Lower Fungom in Menchum Division in the North West Region of Cameroon. The word list is collected from two speakers of Missong: a female and male. There is individual-based variation among the two speakers at level of the tones, prefixes, lexical roots, even concord nuances. The noun class disparities is revealed by the matrix (mx) column determined through noun phrases. One remarkable differences with the Mungbam group is that Missong is the only language that uses the ba-prefix while other members like Abar, Munken, and Biya make use of bə-prefix while Ngun makes us of bɛ̀-prefix. Hence, the Mungbam has three different prefixes for class 2: bə̀-~bà-~bɛ̀-.
