Tumor suppressive role of PRELP gene in ovarian clear cell carcinoma

Proline/arginine-rich end leucine-rich repeat protein (PRELP) is one of the small leucine-rich proteoglycans of extracellular matrix proteins. PRELP expression is markedly downregulated in most epithelial cancers, and PRELP has previously been shown to play a role in regulating the epithelial-mesenchymal transition by altering intercellular adhesion. Here, we established conditionally expressed ovarial cancer cell lines and performed RNA-seq to understand the roles of PRELP on gene expression.
