Dataset: UTAUT and organizational legitimacy in Fintech adoption in Brazil

This dataset contains survey responses collected from Brazilian individuals over the age of 18 who are familiar with fintechs regarding their intention to use Fintech services. The study applies the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and introduces perception of organizational legitimacy as an additional construct. The data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine how UTAUT dimensions and legitimacy influence the intention to use Fintechs. Files include: (1) the anonymized dataset, (2) a README file with a codebook describing the variables. Data collection followed ethical approval from UNISINOS Research Ethics Committee.
