Predatory Publishing in Academic Scientific Publications. Awareness among research communities in Italy

"Predatory Publishing in Academic Scientific Publications. Awareness among research communities in Italy" is the focus of a survey distributed nationwide. This anonymised online survey aims to evaluate Italian researchers' publishing behaviours and their awareness of predatory journals. The invitation was sent via institutional email from 30 June to 30 September 2023. Participation was voluntary and confidential. A total of 258 responses were received.The data analysis has been reported here as a recommendation of the editor who reviewed the article.
