This qualitative study explores educators' attitudes and experiences regarding the integration of ChatGPT into teaching and learning environments, using interviews as the primary data collection method. The findings reveal that educators perceive ChatGPT as a valuable tool for enhancing teaching strategies, promoting classroom engagement, and supporting professional objectives. Participants highlighted ChatGPT’s ability to address challenges such as language barriers, ideation block, and limited access to resources while emphasizing its potential to save time and personalize learning. However, the study also identifies institutional, ethical, and equity-related barriers that constrain adoption. Crucially, this study contributes new insights by foregrounding educators’ voices an underrepresented group in current AI-in-education research and offering policy-relevant recommendations to guide responsible and strategic implementation. These findings underscore the transformative potential of ChatGPT in education while calling for coordinated efforts to enhance its integration and mitigate associated risks.<br>
