Delia radicum (cabbage root fly) is a common pest in agriculture, especially in the northern hemisphere, due to the specialization of the larval stage to Brassicaceae plants, including cabbage, broccoli, rapeseeds and mustard. The assembled genome will provide insights in herbivore-host plant interactions as well as interactions with their abiotic and biotic environment.
