In 2019, the state in Australian which had the highest gender pay gap was Western Australia, in which the gender pay gap was just under 22 percent. On the other hand, South Australia was the state which had the lowest gender pay gap with just over nine percent. The gender pay gap represents the difference between men and women's full-time weekly salary.
