In this report we describe the complete sequences of three SARS-CoV 2 P.1 strains obtained from nasopharyngeal swabs from three patients returning from Brazil to Italy. Sequences were released a few days after the collection of samples. Timely sharing of genomic data is essential to tackle the global pandemic in the light of the role that specific mutations may have in the pathobiology of the virus. The described sequences are the first P.1 sequences described in Italy.
