We analysed the physiology, transcriptomics and metabolomics of two different types of maize hybrids (low-temperature-high-humidity-sensitive and low-temperature-high-humidity-tolerant) under compound stress and after recovery from compound stress on seed germination. This deepens the understanding of the adaptive mechanisms of maize to abiotic stresses, which is important for ensuring food security in high-latitude regions
