MapReFA: A LabVIEW-based map reader software for variable rate fertilizer application, This LabVIEW-based software can read a soil map image to provide the required information to tailor the fertilizer rate based on the map color intensity, regardless of which software is used for map generation. The aim behind that is to simplify the use of variable rate (VR) fertilization in both research and practical usages. In addition, the procedure described in this article leads researchers as a road map to develop similar software with an identical algorithm as fast as possible.
