This dataset provides high-spatial-resolution (30 m) and long-time-series (1985–2020) annual maize phenology metrics for the major maize-producing regions in China, including the three-leaf stage and maturity stage. The dataset is stored in GeoTIFF format, and all files are named based on the phenology metric, start year, end year, and the corresponding province. This dataset can be utilized to investigate the driving factors of crop phenology and serve as input data for crop yield models.
