Characterization and prediction of gambling behavior in adolescents using the COM-B model

Raw paired data from 354 students, aged 14-16 years (both inclusive), 52.54% female, taken in three waves (2016, 2017 and 2018). The variable_description folder contains the text files (docx and pdf formats) in which the measured variables are described, in English (variable_description_en-US) and Spanish (variable_description_ES). The variables measure sociodemographic data and constructs that are considered risk or protective factors for gambling-related problems, according to the existing literature. In the "Data" folder, two data file formats are available, in RData format and in CSV format. With these data we have tried to understand gambling behavior in adolescents and to interpret the risk and protective factors according to the COM-B model ( Capability Opportunity Motivation-Behavior)本数据集包含354名14至16岁（含边界）学生的配对原始数据，其中女性占比52.54%，数据采集于2016、2017及2018三个波次。数据集的variable_description文件夹中包含以英文（variable_description_en-US）与西班牙语（variable_description_ES）撰写的测量变量说明文本文件，格式涵盖docx与pdf。依据现有研究文献，本次测量的变量涵盖社会人口学数据，以及与赌博相关问题相关的风险与保护因素构念。在"Data"文件夹中，提供了两种格式的数据文件，分别为RData格式与CSV格式。本数据集旨在助力解析青少年赌博行为，并依据COM-B模型（Capability Opportunity Motivation-Behavior）对相关风险与保护因素进行阐释。
