Replication Data for: Trusted Messengers: Dyadic Racial Descriptive Representation in Early 21st-Century U.S. State and Federal Elections

This dataset contains information for all 8,826 elections within the scope of my research (all statewide and federal elections held between 2002 and 2021, contested by both major parties, under electoral systems in which one candidate per party could advance to the general election, in which no third-party or independent candidate was the incumbent and/or received at least 15% of the vote, plus all state legislative elections in Alabama, Hawaii, Illinois, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, and Wyoming during the same time period that fit the same criteria). Each row represents one election.
