The U.S. Geological Survey measured suspended-sediment concentration, currents, waves, light attenuation, and a variety of other water quality parameters in the summer of 2013 in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey. Data were acquired sequentially at three channel and three shoal sites, moving the equipment from south to north in the estuary. Data were collected for approximately 3 weeks at each site.
