We have used single-cells transcriptomics to analyse the identity of lymphatic endothelial cells in adult dorsal skin. Lymphatic endothelial cells played an important role in skin homeostasis and protection. We showed that lymphatic vasculature has a highly organized architecture dependent to skin microenvironment. Our 3D imaging data associated to single-cells analysis revealed the importance of lymphatic valves in dermal lymphatic vascular network. Overall design: Lymphatic endothelial cells have been isolated by cell sorting as CD45 negative, CD31 positive and GFP positive from Prox1creERT2; mTmG reporter mouse model and analysed by single-cells
