The saccus vasculosus of the masu salmon functions as a seasonal sensor to regulate photoperiodic gonadal response. Coronet cells play a sginificant role in this process. To test whether coronet cells exhibit heterogeniety in expression of opsin genes, sngle cell mRNA-seq analysis has been performed.
