Agricultural transformation towards delivering deep carbon cuts in China's arid inland areas

This repository provides access to the dataset used to explore long-term changes in agricultural net GHG emissions by county, product group, process, gas and quantify the future reduction potential in arid areas of northwest China. This dataset is used to support the manuscript submitted to Environment International entitled "Agricultural transformation towards delivering deep carbon cuts in China's arid inland areas". Two files are provided, named as "Dataset.xlsx" and "MATLAB_Scipt_ASGHG-INV model". The file "Dataset.xlsx" includes detailed data used in the manuscript. The file "MATLAB_Script_ASGHG-INV model" includes the MATLAB scripts used to establish the Agricultural System-induced GreenHouse Gases INVentory (ASGHG-INV) model. The ASGHG-INV model code includes three modules for Xinjiang (XJ), Hexi corridor (HX), and Corps, each module including upstream GHG emissions, farmland GHG emissions, and farmland carbon sequestration.
