Renewable Energy Technology Adoption Date by Rural Households in Njoro Constituency, Nakur County Kenya

The aim of this study was to assess the level of awareness of rural residents of Njoro constituency to the different renewable energy technologies and the factors influencing their adoption. Results of the study indicated that gender and education level had a significant effect on knowledge and awareness. It was also found that age and social-economic status did not have significant effect on the knowledge and awareness.本研究旨在评估恩乔罗选区（Njoro constituency）农村居民对各类可再生能源技术的认知水平，及其采纳行为的影响因素。研究结果表明，性别与受教育程度对居民的相关知识储备与认知水平存在显著影响；同时发现，年龄与社会经济地位并未对该类知识及认知产生显著作用。
