Gut microbiota dominants over mice genetic variability in susceptibility to dextran sulphate sodium induced colitis. Mus musculus strain:BALB/C

It is demonstrated that mouse strain or sex difference influence colitis susceptibility but the relative contribution of the gut microbiota remain obscure. Here we screen one same inbred strain (BALB/c) mice from the three main distributors of laboratory animals in Japan.
