BCD

The BCD is an open resource that comprises information about chromosome number, karyotype, and the advances obtained by Fluorescent in situ Hybridization (FISH) studies in birds. The database have compiled data on the chromosome numbers of 1,067 bird species and chromosome painting data on 96 species. The main purpose of this database is to retrieve and organize historical/current information regarding avian cytogenetics.BCD是一个开放资源，涵盖鸟类的染色体数目、核型信息，以及通过荧光原位杂交（Fluorescent in situ Hybridization，FISH）研究所取得的相关研究进展。该数据库已收录1067种鸟类的染色体数目数据，以及96种鸟类的染色体涂染数据。本数据库的核心宗旨为检索并整理与鸟类细胞遗传学相关的历史与当前研究信息。
