The dataset is part of a larger project involving two studies. Study 1: his study was conducted online. The dataset contains information gathered from 418 participants suffering from chronic pain lasting more than 3 months and a physician's diagnosis of a medical condition associated with chronic pain. The dataset encompasses sociodemographic data, including age, gender, marital status, employment status, educational level, and place of residence. Additionally, it features data from a medical history survey, and the following standardized questionnaires: Pain Vigilance and Awareness Questionnaire (PVAQ) (McCracken, 1997) [items: 1-16], Pain Anxiety Symptoms Scale-20 (PASS-20) (McCracken & Dhingra, 2002) [items: 1-20], Coping Strategies Questionnaire (CSQ) (Rosenstiel and Keefe, 1983) [items: 1-42], Depression Anxiety Stress Scales-21 (DASS-21) (Lovibond and Lovibond, 1995) [items: 1-21], Committed Action Questionnaire-8 (CAQ-8) (McCracken, 2015) [items: 1-8], Self Experiences Questionnaire (SEQ) (Yu et al., 2016) [items: 1-15]. Study 2: The dataset contains information gathered from 148 individuals. Participants with the presence of chronic pain lasting more than 3 months, and a physician's diagnosis of a medical condition associated with chronic pain were recruited from pain management facilities in Poland. The dataset includes sociodemographic data: age, gender, marital status, employment status, education level and place of residence. Additionally, it features data from a medical history survey, and the Pain Vigilance and Awareness Questionnaire (PVAQ) (McCracken, 1997) [items: 1-16].
