This project aims to investigate the potential effects of probiotic intake on cognitive improvement by analyzing the gut microbiome through 16S rRNA sequencing. Fecal samples were collected from human participants, and the V4-5 region of the 16S rRNA gene was amplified and sequenced using the Illumina MiSeq platform. The study seeks to determine whether changes in the gut microbiome composition, influenced by probiotic consumption, are associated with cognitive improvements in individuals.
