To better understand the molecular network of PBZ inhibiting the growth of P. lactiflora lateral branches, we applied both RNA-seq for transcriptome analysis and miRNA-seq for miRNA analysis in our study. Our results can provide a theoretical basis to breed ideal P. lactiflora cut flower varieties without lateral branches.
