PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber manufacturing method for a two-axis circular saw machine capable of preventing a step at cutting on a split surface of a lumber from occurring. SOLUTION: A lower saw blade S2 placed at a downstream side is configured to have an effective radius R2 enough to split over an entire thickness D of a lumber W on a lumber transport surface Wa as well as a blade thickness to be thicker than that of an upper saw blade S1 placed at an upstream side， and to be set with the upper saw blade S1 in a same vertical surface of the lower saw blade S2， and therewith split the lumber W. Further， the upper saw blade S1 is configured to have an effective radius R1 enough to split the lumber W on the lumber transport surface Wa with a thickness more than a half thickness of the lumber.
