Brazil: share of sustainable care products consumption 2019, by type

Hair care products were amongst the most commonly purchased sustainable personal care articles by Brazilians in 2019, according to a survey. When asked about their purchase of sustainable, organic, natural, or vegan personal care products, nearly 30 percent of respondents said they purchased shampoos with such specifications. Natural, organic make-up was purchased by 12.6 of Brazilians surveyed. That same year, more than half of Brazilians were interested in natural beauty products, according to a different survey.
