The dataset of main crop utilization and cultivation history on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is derived from literature data collected between 1990 and 2020, as well as household questionnaire survey data from local farmers on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in 2019 and 2021. It mainly covers crop utilization and cultivation status, including crops such as highland barley, wheat, corn, potato, pea, and vegetables. The specific data items include: crop variety names, farmland management conditions, yields of major crops, yield and quality of highland barley, yield and quality of wheat, household fruit and vegetable cultivation status, agricultural product storage status, straw utilization status, crop sown area (ten thousand hectares), sowing date, harvesting date, processing and conversion volume (ten thousand tons), per capita grain possession (kg), and per capita grain possession (kg).
